The Senior Safety Technician is a salaried position at an industry-leading construction company. Responsibilities Analyzing the safety performance of work performed Understanding laws and regulations pertaining to OSHA Conducting job inspections of construction areas Identifying, documenting, and recommending resolution of hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions Confirming corrections have been made to hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions. Investigating property damage and personal injury accidents Assisting in conducting employee and insurance inspections Assisting in emergency rescues as required Assisting in maintaining fire protection and grounding systems Compiling data, photographs, pertinent forms, and reports, as well as conducting employee interviews associated with accidents. Conducting industrial hygiene samples to ensure safe working conditions. Other duties as assigned.
