Paint Prep - 2nd Shift

ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Ensure proper surface preparation prior to painting, taping, and pluggingLoad and unload parts/components to be paintedUse of hand tools to uninstall/install components and prepare components for paintingPerform rework and repair tasksPerform filter maintenanceLabel finished partsPerform quality checksUtilize proper safety techniquesUses computer system to manage paint specificationsSupport APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in continuous improvement eventsMove to other work areas to support production needs (cross-train)Effectively assist and train new/current associates.Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures, and practices to include proper use and care of PPEMaintain work area and shop tools/equipmentShows commitment to Altec core valuesOther job duties as assignedPay Transparency:Pay range: $21.42/hour - $23.73/hour, plus a shift differential!
