This role focuses on maintaining, fabricating, and troubleshooting a variety of progressive bracket and deep draw dies to meet production and quality standards. You will collaborate with CNC and WEDM teams, operate toolroom equipment, and support production schedules across multiple shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints and use measuring tools to fabricate, repair, sharpen, or modify toolingSafely operate all toolroom equipment, including surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, and drill pressesCollaborate with CNC and WEDM departments to produce die components and tooling within quoted timelinesTroubleshoot dimensional issues and adjust dies for optimal press performanceSubmit requisitions for supplies and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaSupport other areas outside your primary expertise, including production line maintenance and adjustmentsWork with team members across shifts to ensure dies and tools are ready to meet production and quality requirementsMust-Haves / Requirements SummaryWorking knowledge of quality inspection gauges and CMM dataFamiliarity with machine tools and modern manufacturing technologyStrong communication, analytical, and reasoning skillsFlexibility to work shifts, overtime, and some weekendsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs routinely and manipulate medium to large tools/materialsPhysical stamina to move across specified terrain and perform repetitive arm/leg movements over extended periodsPreferred QualificationsJourneyman Tool & Die Maker or equivalent experienceExperience with deep draw and progressive bracket diesSoft SkillsAttention to detail and precisionCollaborative mindset and willingness to support team needsProactive problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsBenefitsCompetitive hourly wage: $30 $40/hourSafe, organized, and professional work environmentOpportunity for skill development and cross-trainingShift and overtime opportunities for increased earnings
