Cloud Engineer

The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our technical team to help design, build, and prove foundational data-centric capabilitiesThe Expertise and Skills You Bring Technical leader -leading define, build, prove cycles.Excellent communicator.Expert collaborator.Continuous learner.Mentor and coach to the team's data engineering associates.Bachelor's degree required and at least 7 years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering.Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)Experience working with large data sets.Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development.Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.Familiarity with large complex system designFamiliarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus.Shell scripting experience.Linux environment experience.Financial services experience preferred.The TeamYou will join the Data Platforms team where you will be a collaborate with a multi-functional team of architects, cloud authorities, operational leads, and members of the team to Define, Build, Refine, and Evolve a resilient data platform in support of Defined Contribution Participant Recordkeeping.
