Spray OperatorMust be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. In addition, the Spray Operator will spray products to make sure they are consistent to the customer's request.Essential Job Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed.)Perform equipment setup and preparation tasksOperate and maintain the spray machine(s)Change the spray booth filter(s), as neededUtilize water-based paintUtilize both automatic and manual spray machinesLoad, position and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanismsClean and prepare containers for packingPush buttons, turn handles or move controls and levers to start and control printing machine(s)Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defectsMonitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustmentsPlace printed items in ovens to dry or set ink(s)Must wear personal protective equipment, if and when necessaryResponsible for inspecting own work to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest quality product possibleMaintain a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas workReliable, regular attendance is essentialPerforms duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policiesOther duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or SupervisorEssential Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
