An ideal candidate will have experience teaching reading, math, and writers workshop through whole group, small group and independent instruction. Teachers are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues.An ideal candidate will possess a love of teaching children, excitement for trying new curricula and methodologies, and excellent oral and written communication skills.Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:MA degree in educationA minimum of three years teaching as a head teacher in an elementary schoolA teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domainsA collaborative, teamwork-oriented approachExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSalary Range: $60,000-75,000Please email with a cover letter and resume indicating your interest and qualifications.
