Structural Analysis Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Structural Analysis Engineers for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Must have recent Level 4 experience with the following skills:Airframe primary structure layout and sizingHand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structuresNASTRAN and PATRAN or HyperMeshCatia V5POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure, as well as updating existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Experience in stress analysis of subsystems and subsystems installations desired. Experience with MRB stress analysis of metallic and composite structure desired. Required experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN as well as Abaqus. Experience using Altair HyperMesh as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired. Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired. Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems desired.
