CQV ENGINEER
Job Title: CQV ENGINEERLocation: Rensselaer, NY (Fully Onsite)Duration: 12 Months Contract with Possible ExtensionsWe are seeking a highly skilled CQV ENGINEER to support a leading pharmaceutical client in NY. This role is fully onsite and will be part of the Engineering and Automation team, contributing to large-scale capital projects and supporting the design and implementation of new process areas.The ideal candidate will bring strong pharmaceutical engineering experience, hands-on expertise with chromatography systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Key Responsibilities:Support design, installation, and commissioning of process equipment, including chromatography skidsAssist in bringing new process areas online, including bioreactor suites and related systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, process engineering, and automationReview and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentationSupport qualification activities including Installation Qualification (IQ) and related validation effortsAnalyze process data using historian systems and provide insights for process improvementsWork on instrumentation, alarms, and system integration within regulated environmentsUtilize systems such as Veeva and ValGenesis for documentation and validation supportManage multiple priorities and workstreams while operating independently with minimal supervisionRequired Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical or life sciences engineering experienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Biopharma, or related field)Hands-on experience installing and commissioning chromatography skidsStrong understanding of chromatography processes and applicationsExperience working on large-scale capital projects in regulated environmentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsExperience working cross-functionally across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teamsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with bioreactors, WFI systems, instrumentation, and alarmsFamiliarity with validation systems such as ValGenesis and documentation platforms like VeevaExperience analyzing process data using historian systems
