Quality Control Manager

Position Summary:The Quality Control Manager leads quality compliance activities for testing, sample retention, and finished product stability programs. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives and is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining laboratory quality systems and procedures in compliance with GMP, ISO, and other applicable regulatory requirements. The position ensures products are developed, manufactured, and distributed in alignment with corporate quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership, training, performance management, and oversight for Quality Control staff.Manage sample lifecycle activities, including receipt, labeling, storage, inventory, distribution, and control.Author, review, and maintain SOPs, methods, and controlled quality documentation.Manage laboratory vendors and supplier qualification status.Oversee sample shipments and review testing results from contract laboratories.Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for internal testing.Oversee the internal Stability Program and personnel, including protocol management, stability pulls, testing submissions, reporting, OOS/OOT investigations, and shelf-life extensions.Review sampling plans and testing protocols for in-house, contract laboratory, contract manufacturers, and stability testing.Provide direction and prioritization support for method development activities.Initiate, manage, and resolve change controls and deviations related to sampling, testing, and stability.Maintain accurate and compliant electronic and paper-based records.Resolve quality issues with vendors and contract laboratories in a timely manner.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including S&OP, Supply Chain, Production, R&D, and QA.Support audit readiness and lead internal and external audits.Assist with investigations and other quality-related initiatives, as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred.Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing leadership role.Working knowledge of GMP and GLP environments preferred.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Benefits:Charlotte's Web offers a diverse, quality work environment, a great compensation package, and a comprehensive benefits package.
