Business Development ConsultantReporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth through strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market trends in the Security Industry, to effectively position our services and solutions. This role also ensures client satisfaction, while also supporting the company's system management standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the Security Industry in the Fresno Region.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and customer relationship management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.Utilize different platforms for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales activities.Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.Prepare presentations and proposals for prospective clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.Responsible for other related duties deemed necessary to meet the needs of the company.Client Relations Service:Act as the primary point of contact for client relations in the Fresno region.Respond promptly to client relation escalations and complaints.Maintain open and proactive communication with clients and Citiguard Management regarding site issues and improvements.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.Two (2) years of prior experience in the security industry.Two (2) years of Business Development experience.Strong strategic planning abilities to develop actionable business strategies.Proficient in project management to oversee initiatives from conception through execution.Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management software is essential.Proven track record in business development with a focus on sales growth.Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate successful client agreements.Ability to analyze market data and trends to make informed decisions.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presentations and proposals.Knowledge of security operations.Valid CA Driver's License.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.Must be able to perform the following: Sit frequently, up to 8 hours per day.Walk infrequently, up to 1 hour per day.Stand frequently, up to 2 hours per day.Computer Usage frequently up to 8 hours per day.Communicate verbally to staff, clients and coworkers in transmitting and gathering informationHear information transmitted verbally by phone or radio.Adequate vision required to be able to read information from printed sources and computer screens, as well as color vision and fields of vision to perform job functions. In addition, with the ability to see to drive and read street, vehicle and building marking.Must be able to tolerate work in an indoor and outdoor environment (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
