Physician / Family Practice / New York / Permanent / Primary Care Physician Job

A healthcare organization, with multiple sites around New York and Long Island, is looking to add a licensed Primary Care Physician to their growing team in Brooklyn. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday (one per Saturday per month) Hours: 8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week) Setting: Outpatient Patient Volume: 2 to 3 per hour Responsibilities: The Primary Care Physician will: Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habits Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination results Maintain complete and accurate medical records Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: M.D. / D.O. Board Eligible / Certified in Family or Internal Medicine DEA/BLS/ACLS 3+ years of related experience Desired Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
