We have an exciting opportunity for you to join CareNow which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.Job Summary and QualificationsAs an NCT, you will:Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front DeskCoordinatorand all clinic staff tomaintainsmooth operations and high customer satisfaction.Ensure occupational client's preference card isfollowedand occupational procedures are adhered to.Performs routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing,sortingand filing of patient and clinic materials asappropriate.Is cross trained for Front Desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobbychecksand records releaseMay be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations. Assist with general patient care when needed.You Should Have:1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficialNCT - A Non-Certified Technician license in TexasThe ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of startMust obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotionNCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is requiredBenefitsCareNow, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
