Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Inpatient

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a fully on-site clinical role—no telehealth component.Position Summary:The Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for patients in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. This is a fully in-person position—no telehealth or remote work is available—and inpatient psychiatric experience is required.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planningPrescribe and manage psychotropic medicationsProvide crisis intervention and risk assessmentsLead or co-lead multidisciplinary team rounds in inpatient settingsProvide follow-up care and medication management in outpatient clinicsSupervise or mentor junior clinicians or NPs as appropriateAssist with care coordination, discharge planning, and referralsParticipate in program development, quality initiatives, and clinical innovationQualifications:Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)Ideally, 5 years of psychiatric clinical hospital experience, (inpatient experience mandatory)Valid and unrestricted state NP license and DEA registrationStrong clinical, diagnostic, and medication management skillsExperience with high-acuity or complex psychiatric cases preferredTeam-oriented, with excellent communication and leadership skillsWhy Join Us?We offer a highly competitive compensation package that includes a strong base salary and performance incentives.
