Sales Development Representative

*Sales Development Representative (SDR)* *Location:* Orlando, FL (Hybrid) | *Hours:* 25–30 hrs/week | *Compensation:* base + 10% commission on closed deals | *Reports to:* VP of Operations *About Us* We're a small but established company based in Orlando, helping legal aid organizations, nonprofits, and mission-driven groups understand where they're vulnerable — and what to fix first. We run Technology and Fiscal Risk Assessments that give organizations a clear, prioritized roadmap instead of a vague list of problems. We also have a software division, building solutions for the sectors we serve. We're lean, we move fast, and we're still building out our internal systems — which means you'll have real input on how things get done, not just a script to read from. If you like structure for structure's sake and hate ambiguity, this probably isn't your spot. If you like building something and don't mind rolling up your sleeves, keep reading. *What You'll Actually Be Doing* This role is part researcher, part relationship-builder, part closer: * *Research & mapping:* Identify legal aid organizations, legal nonprofits, and related local/regional organizations we could serve. Get a read on their size, structure, and approximate technology stack. * *CRM ownership:* Enter and organize everything you find in Zoho CRM — clean, categorized, and ready to work. * *Territory building:* Help divide up target lists so there's no overlap or confusion between team members — clear lanes, clear ownership. * *Outreach & cold-calling:* Open conversations, ask good questions, and identify real opportunities. * *Relationship-building:* Not every call turns into a deal today. We want someone who treats a "no" or "not right now" as the start of a relationship, not a dead end. * *Accurate representation:* Learn our offerings well enough to explain them clearly and honestly — no overselling, no confusion. *Who You Are* You don't need years of sales experience to succeed here — you need the right instincts and work ethic. You are: * *Resilient.* You can hear "no" repeatedly and not take it personally — and you know how to keep the door open for later. * *Coachable.* You're eager to learn our industry, our offerings, and how to sell them well. * *Organized.* You don't mind the "unglamorous" work — research, data entry, categorization — because you know it's what makes the calls effective. * *A relationship-builder.* You're genuinely curious about the people and organizations you're talking to, not just chasing a close. * *Self-directed.* You're comfortable in a small company where you'll help shape the process, not just follow one. * *Local.* You live in or near Orlando and can work a hybrid schedule. *What Success Looks Like* In your first few months, you'll have built a clean, well-organized pipeline in Zoho, learned to speak confidently about our services, and started opening real conversations with target organizations — turning research into relationships, and relationships into opportunities. *Compensation & Growth* This role is structured as an entry point into sales with real room to grow. You'll earn a base for your research, CRM, and outreach work, plus 10% commission on deals you help close. As you build skill and results, there's a clear path to grow within a company that's actively building out its team and operations — meaning your growth can help shape what comes next. _Interested? Tell us about a time you turned a "no" into something better._ Pay: From $30,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Orlando, FL 32801
