About Our Client:The organization supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) by managing public-facing websites through a Web Content Management program. It operates within the government sector, addressing the need for reliable and secure web services to facilitate essential information sharing and communication across DHS and coalition networks.2. About the Opportunity:The Web Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs that support DHS web content and operational requirements. This position contributes to enhancing information sharing capabilities and maintaining mission-critical web services.3. Responsibilities:Support exercise and operational web development needs.Provide web expertise to US and coalition networks to enhance information sharing.Develop and manage SharePoint sites and content.Interact professionally with government operational representatives.Deliver high-level written and verbal communication, including public speaking.4. Requirements:US Citizenship.Minimum of 9 years relevant work experience.Experience briefing high-level military staff.Proficiency in Microsoft Office O365 products.Strong writing and briefing skills.Extensive knowledge of Python and frameworks like Django and Flask.Expertise in HTML and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.Basic understanding of CSS and frameworks including Bootstrap and Tailwind.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.SharePoint specialist skills with flexibility for cross-training and surge support.Information Assurance Technical Level II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.5.
