We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking Controller as part of the organizations prestigious leadership development program. This organization is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. This candidate will report to the General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.POSITION OVERVIEWCandidate will report to the General Manager and will have a strong working relationship with the Divisional CFOResponsible for leading month end close for operation with EBITA approaching 40%Candidate will have accountability over cost and reporting function.Review and analyze plant inventory transactionResponsible for leading month end close processAnalyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on businessProvide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditureParticipate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.POSTION REQUIREMENTBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc).Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing Accounting experienceExperience leading month end close processTargeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource")
