Necessity for coverage at our other two locations is very unlikely, but possible; coverage will most likely be requested with 30 days+ notice.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED certificate
Two years’ experience with scheduling and answering phones, preferably in a medical office setting
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Conveys enthusiasm and positive attitude.
Good computer skills: Able to use Microsoft Office and a Practice Management System.
Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for assistance.
Acquires growing knowledge of insurances and MAT/Addiction treatment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deal effectively with frequent interruptions.
Ability to perform data entry with 100% accuracy.
Ability to empathize with diverse patient population; Empathetic with patient needs and concerns.
Represents the clinic expectations of respect, appropriate boundaries, and compassion to both staff and patients at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Greet and check in patients.
Schedule visits for patients by identifying their treatment plan requirements and/or appointment scheduling log provided by direct service staff.
Answer and direct established-patient phone calls; mindfully identifies how to direct calls according to company workflows and policies.
Handle new patient admissions paperwork.
Reschedule appointments, as needed, per patient or clinic’s needs; review attendance compliance based on attendance history and patient’s program requirements. Work with medical and counseling staff to address attendance issues when noted.
Collecting and documenting payments; Balance monies collected and reconcile reports at the end of the day; requesting payment plans as instructed by Front Desk Manager and Program/Billing Manager.
Updating patient charts, uploading documents into EMR.

Friday: 830-3PM
