A health services organization in Western New York is looking to add a licensedAdult Psychiatrist to join their growing Inpatient / Outpatient team in the Buffalo.About the Opportunity:Start Date:ASAPSchedule:Monday to FridayHours:8am to 4:30pmSetting:Inpatient / OutpatientResponsibilities:TheAdult Psychiatrist will be responsible for:Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation and assessmentFacilitatinggroup/family education and therapyOrdering suicide precautionsProvidingtreatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive and insight oriented therapyOrdering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providersPerforming first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissionsPerformingother duties, as neededQualifications:Licenseto practice in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible Certified inAdult PsychiatryValid National Provider Identification Number (NPI)Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number)Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programsYour privacy is important to us.
