SummaryApplies knowledge of structural analysis including materials technology, finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, and structural testing to determine structural adequacy. Ensures structural designs meet customer requirements and regulatory compliance. Collaborates on structural design and manufacturing processes. Participates in post-delivery product support activities. Evaluates structural performance for flight vehicle products. Uses finite element modeling for structural analysis. Performs static and fatigue analysis on aerospace structures. Conducts damage tolerance analysis for structural integrity. Performs thermal and vibration analysis on structures. Collaborates with design and manufacturing teams to ensure structural adequacy. RequirementsMust be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3-6 years of experience, or PhD with 0-3 years of experience. Experience with structural analysis including finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, and vibration analysis. Experience with materials technology for aerospace applications. Experience with structural testing methods. Knowledge of customer requirements and regulatory compliance standards. Ability to collaborate on structural design and manufacturing processes. Experience in post-delivery product support activities. Knowledge of structural analysis tools and methodologies. Understanding of aerospace structural integrity and compliance requirements.
