Temporary Quality Control Associate

Location: Everett, MA | On-siteHourly Range: $40-$55Schedule: Full-time | Monday-FridayAssignment Duration: ~1 year starting ASAPJob OverviewAn engineering and construction company is seeking a detail-driven Temporary Quality Control Associate to support quality assurance and inspection activities. This hands-on role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment compliance, inspection accuracy, and project quality standards across installation operations.Skills & QualificationsExperience in quality control, quality assurance, or site inspectionStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document discrepanciesFamiliarity with inspection processes, compliance standards, and reporting toolsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction or engineering environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming inspection for all equipment entering the facilityConduct subassembly inspections for all assembled equipmentDocument and track deficiencies using a Project Open Items LogCoordinate joint inspections with external stakeholders (e.g., MBTA Quality team)Maintain and manage a quality inspection scheduleEstablish and oversee a defective materials control areaCommunicate deficiencies to the Inventory ManagerEnsure proper handling and relocation of non-conforming materialsSupport quality control processes tied to change management and complianceUse only approved baseline project documentation and formsGenerate inspection forms at the time of inspection for accuracyCreate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)Review incoming inspection reports and installation test reports, logging any open itemsDevelop and track quality control metrics using project logsParticipate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for deficienciesApply Today!Ready to elevate your career in quality control and inspection?
