Hospitalist Physician

Southwest Medical, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. Optum is a clinician‑led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live. Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities Our hospitalists only treat Medicare Advantage patients under a managed care model. 7 on/7 off schedule, 7 am to 7 pm. Closed ICU, no ER coverage, no procedures required. 4–5 average admissions per shift. Hospitalists work as a team and are provided with an excellent support structure. Compensation & Benefits Highlights Attractive base salary, sign‑on bonus, and quarterly bonus plan. Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, STD/LTD, professional liability, 401(k) with match, and continuing medical education. Potential total cash compensation ranging from $260,000 to $387,000, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, and performance. Required Qualifications MD or DO. IM or FM residency trained, Board Certified. Active and unrestricted license in NV, or ability to obtain prior to employment. DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
