Social Media Specialist

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. This is a hybrid position with the office located in Spring, Texas (Houston, TX metro area). Ideal Candidate: We are seeking to add a full-time social media specialist to the team. Your love for social media, community, and building relationships through technology makes you the ideal candidate for this position. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field Comfortable in-front of and behind the camera to produce social media photos and videos. Knowledge of the social trends of various platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more. Theological understanding of Scripture in order to accurately communicate the value of the product to the customer. Experience managing various social platforms for another business or ministry (not just personal experience), preferred, but not required. Job Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and write captions for social media posts (two Instagram accounts, two Facebook accounts, one Facebook group, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn) Coordinate and film video content for social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) Brainstorm, coordinate, and request creatives for social media Manage brand reputation by responding to messages and comments on social platforms Respond to affiliate inquiries Implement affiliate and influencer programs Implement new initiatives to increase social engagement, which leads to customer acquisition/conversion Weekly and monthly reporting on the performance of each social platform Other duties as assigned Compensation & Benefits: Starting annual salary for this position is approximately $50,000 based upon experience.
