Platform Engineer (Python / Backend) - C2C projectC2C (Corp to Corp) project - this is not a W2 role$64 - $67 per hourHybrid role6 months initial projectOur consulting client is hiring a Platform Engineer to design and build the core backend services powering their banking clients Security platform — the central system of record for security findings, controls, remediation workflows, and reporting.Platform Engineer (Python / Backend) - What you'll do:Build scalable Python APIs and microservices supporting security finding management, control validation, alert processing, and workflow orchestrationDevelop telemetry ingestion and event-processing pipelines using Kafka and event-driven architectureBuild RESTful APIs and integrations across platforms including Keycloak, ServiceNow, OpenShift, Vault, and DataHubImplement AI-enabled capabilities for triage support, root-cause analysis, and risk prioritisationSupport CI/CD, containerisation (OpenShift/Kubernetes), and production deploymentPlatform Engineer (Python / Backend) - What you'll bring:5+ years of Python backend development experienceStrong skills in FastAPI, Flask, or Django, with REST API and microservices architecture experienceExperience with Kafka/event streaming, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, and CI/CD pipelinesSolid understanding of secure coding, authentication/authorization, and IAM conceptsExperience in cloud-native, containerized environments (OpenShift/Kubernetes preferred)Nice to have:Experience with SIEM, SOAR, CNAPP, CSPM, or similar Security Hub platformsBackground in financial services or other highly regulated environmentsExperience supporting AI/ML-enabled applications
