We are seeking aChild Behavior Specialist (BSW/LSW)who is ready to make a meaningful difference by providing asafe, structured, and therapeutic environmentfor children. This role is ideal for someone with aheart for working with children and families , and while prior experience with children or adolescents is preferred,we provide comprehensive trainingto set you up for success.

Provide asafe and structured environmentwhere children can grow and thrive.Lead group sessions and provide individual therapy sessions with clients.Completethreat assessmentsand implement appropriate interventions.Implement thePositive Leaps model of care and curriculum .Support treatment goals and objectives developed by the Program Coordinator.Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation and clinical datain compliance with Ohio laws, third-party payer requirements, and organizational policies.Collaborate with families, team members, and supervisors to track progress and outcomes.Demonstrateleadership and adaptabilityin a dynamic environment.Provide constructivefeedback and supportto peers and supervisors.Maintain strongclassroom organization skillsto foster a positive and therapeutic atmosphere.Assist with other classroom or clinical needs as they arise.
Documentation & BillingEnsure compliance withstate lawsand third-party payer requirements.FollowPositive Leaps policies and proceduresfor accurate clinical documentation.QualificationsBachelors degree in Social Work(BSW required).Licensed Social Worker (LSW)in the state of Ohio.Must be at least 19 years old.Comfortable working with children ofall ages , especially ages 38.CPR/First Aid Certification(must be obtained within 3 weeks of hire).Annualflu vaccination(or approved medical/religious exemption).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in aphysically active environmentand lift up to 50 lbs.Must successfullypass a comprehensive background check .Work Environment & ConsiderationsDirect interaction with children who may displayphysical aggression .Exposure toloud noise , including frequent crying or screaming.Potential exposure toblood and bodily fluids .Your Next StepIf youre passionate abouthelping children build brighter futuresand want to be part of a collaborative, supportive team,wed love to hear from you!
