Cultural and Linguistic Specific Licensed Mental Health Provider

Responsibilities ·Provide trauma-informed decolonized person-centered psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples in person or virtual using Therapy Notes ·Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in Therapy Notes ·Bill for a minimum of 24 sessions per month ·Provide assistance navigating referrals and coordination of care with outside organizations, as needed. ·Ensure documentation meets all compliance standards. ·Attend and participate in paid practice meetings (Case Consultation, Staff meetings, etc.) ·Read and comply with the organization’s policies and procedures and contractual agreements with EAP, insurance, and other funding sources. ·Work with the administration to conduct quality assessment initiatives, performance reviews, and program evaluation. ·Maintain and provide proof of malpractice insurance min limits $1,000,000/$3,000,000Qualifications ·Current INDEPENDENT Oregon, Washington, New York OR Texas license in counseling or social work - REQUIRED ·Minimum 2 years’ experience providing mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. ·Minimum 1-year immersion experience in personal identity work that includes dynamics of power, privilege, and oppression. Demonstrate awareness and action taken to address personal power and marginalization dynamics. ·Experience providing care to Black, Indigenous, Latino/a/e, other POC and their families AND/OR have personal, familial, or deep friendship experiences within this community. ·Experience providing care to LGBTQ+ people and their families AND/OR have personal, familial, or deep friendship experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. ·Knowledge of the impacts of oppression and persecution on mental health and daily functioning, and skill in trauma-informed care. ·Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time. ·Ability to engage in and contribute to a connected and authentic team culture. ·Strong computer skills and ability to monitor activities in an Electronic Health Record (EHR). ·Experienced understanding of Medicaid and other insurance requirements for mental health service provision. ·Knowledge of state credentialing requirements for licensed clinicians, and ability to meet standards set forth state board. ·Ability to pass a background check. ·Fluent in the English language: speaking, reading, and writing. Preferred second language fluency: reading, writing, and speaking.
