Regional Director - Interventional Glaucoma

Our mission is to provide eye care providers with transformative, clinically proven therapies that are intuitive, less invasive, and more intelligent, improving patient outcomes and customer experiences.The Regional Sales Director – Interventional Glaucoma is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Interventional Glaucoma Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets. This role requires a strategic, execution-focused leader who can drive adoption of Sight Sciences' technologies within ophthalmology practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and hospital systems.ResponsibilitiesSales Execution & Performance ManagementMeet or exceed quarterly and annual regional revenue targetsTranslate national strategy into clear regional execution plans and prioritiesDrive disciplined use of CRM tools, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline managementMonitor and analyze performance trends to identify risks and opportunitiesLeadership & Talent DevelopmentRecruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of sales representativesEstablish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth, centered around Sight Sciences' 5 behaviorsConduct regular field coaching to improve clinical acumen, sales effectiveness, and territory managementManage performance, including goal setting, ongoing feedback, coaching and development, and formal reviewsMarket DevelopmentPartner with physicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and administrators to expand adoption of interventional glaucoma proceduresIdentify and remove barriers to procedural growth, including workflow, reimbursement, and patient education challengesSupport development of new accounts and expansion within existing accountsLead regional initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of interventional glaucoma therapiesSupport regional and national industry meetings and physician education programs as neededStrategic PlanningDevelop and execute regional business plans aligned with corporate objectivesProvide field insights to inform product strategy, messaging, and market development effortsParticipate in national sales meetings, QBRs, and leadership planning sessionsCross‐Functional CollaborationAlign with Sales Operations on territory design, targeting, and incentive effectivenessPartner with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns and programsCollaborate with Clinical/Medical Affairs to ensure appropriate clinical education and supportWork with Market Access teams to navigate reimbursement and coverage challengesPartner cross‐functionally with the Interventional Dry Eye team to elevate the standards of interventional eye careQualificationsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred7–10+ years of medical device or healthcare sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership roleExperience in ophthalmology, surgical devices, or procedural‐based selling strongly preferredProven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and developing top‐performing teamsLeadership & ExecutionDemonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high‐performing sales teamsStrong field coaching skills with a focus on behavior change and skill developmentAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands‐on execution in a fast‐paced environmentCommercial & Clinical AcumenDeep understanding of complex sales cycles, including physician adoption and procedural sellingAbility to engage credibly with surgeons, administrators, and clinical staffStrong business acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and data‐driven decision‐makingCollaboration & CommunicationExcellent communication, presentation, and influencing skillsProven ability to work cross‐functionally and lead without direct authorityStrong organizational and prioritization skills in a resource‐constrained environmentTravel RequirementsWillingness to travel extensively within the region (50–75%)Valid driver's licenseEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
