We are seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement Engineer to help improve on-time delivery, production efficiency, and manufacturing processes within our fabrication and assembly operations. This is a highly visible role that works directly with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to identify problems, eliminate waste, and implement sustainable process improvements. *MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER CLEVELAND AREA*ResponsibilitiesDrive initiatives that improve on-time delivery (OTD), labor efficiency, and production flow.Spend time on the production floor daily identifying bottlenecks, part shortages, and process inefficiencies.Partner with production supervisors to resolve manufacturing issues and prevent recurring problems.Conduct time studies, analyze production data, and develop standard work.Lead root cause investigations using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.Coordinate improvement projects across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.Track key performance metrics and provide recommendations that improve productivity and reduce rework.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. *MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER CLEVELAND AREA*3-7 years of manufacturing or production experience.Experience with assembly operations and sheet metal fabrication preferred.Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), time studies, and root cause analysis.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working on the shop floor and collaborating with employees at all levels.What Success Looks LikeImproved on-time delivery performance.Reduced production downtime, rework, and material shortages.Increased labor efficiency and standardized processes.Sustainable solutions that improve daily manufacturing operations.If you're a proactive engineer who enjoys solving problems, working directly with production teams, and making a measurable impact on manufacturing performance, we'd love to hear from you.
