As a Production Planner, you’ll own the schedule, balance competing priorities, and work cross-functionally to meet customer demand. We've been named a Great Place to Work for 7 consecutive years so you'll also join a great team!Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and adjust daily production schedules across molding, assembly, and reworkCollaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Purchasing to resolve changes and constraints in real timeAnalyze capacity, forecasts, and production data to improve efficiency and utilizationDevelop alternate plans when disruptions occur (downtime, material shortages, capacity limits)Ensure material availability and manage planning parameters (safety stock, minimums, order multiples)Communicate clear production priorities, including occasional weekend schedulesWhat You BringStrong attention to detail in a high-change environmentAnalytical mindset with solid problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and collaborate under pressureManufacturing scheduling experience (injection molding a plus)A Day in the LifeYou start your day reviewing overnight production and adjusting schedules based on machine performance and material availability. By mid-morning, you’re working with Customer Service to reprioritize urgent orders and coordinating with the floor to keep presses running. You must be able to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, including a keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. The ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds is occasionally necessary.
