Cassia, a nonprofit, senior living organization, has a rare opportunity and is hiring a Human Resources Manager (Float) to join our team at Emerald Crest, renowned assisted living memory care homes in the west and south Twin Cities Metro, and our Home Office in Edina, Minnesota. If you love to jump in and work with a variety of teams/needs and are willing to utilize your skills to ensure HR and payroll operations are running smoothly and efficiently, this is the position for you.In this role, you will primarily be responsible for our Emerald Crest (Guaranteed 24 Hours) locations an occasionally at our Home Office (Guaranteed 6 Hours). You will be responsible for working at our senior living campuses as a traveling/interim HR Manager, supporting locations with a short-term need due to job transition, LOA, or vacation. If you love to jump in and work with a variety of teams/needs and are willing to utilize your skills to ensure HR and payroll operations are running smoothly and efficiently, this is the position for you.Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position splitting your time between Emerald Crest Locations & Home OfficeWage Range: $68,000 - $78,000 Annually depending on experienceLocations:Burnsville: 451 East Travelers Trail, Burnsville, MN 55337Shakopee: 1855 10th Avenue West, Shakopee, MN 55379Minnetonka:13401 Lake Street Extension, Minnetonka, MN 55305-4905Home Office: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439Human Resources Manager responsibilities:Collaborate with department managers to interview as needed and send out job offersCoordinate onboarding processes for new hires including background checks, references, license verifications and communication with new hiresSchedule and assist with new hire orientationAnswer employee questions regarding HR, benefits, payroll and leave of absenceProcess new hire and termination paperworkCoordinate benefits and process enrollments, changes, and terminations for all benefit plans in a timely and accurate fashionWork with staff and managers to administer HR policies (i.e. leave of absence, workers compensation, OSHA, pay policies) and employee retentionManage unemployment claimsAssist the Home Office during the annual open enrollment period for benefitsRecord, maintain, and update employee information in payroll/HRIS system and employee filesWill help/ be the backup for the day-to-day payroll related items and processing bi-weekly payrollOversee online training complianceEnsure performance evaluations are completedOther duties as assignedHuman Resources Manager qualifications:2+ years of experience in Human Resources including payroll responsibilities. Working knowledge of payroll laws and regulations Experience using payroll and HR software; UKG experience a plus!
