Spray Booth Operator

PRIMARY FUNCTION:To apply protective coating to manufactured products using spray in a controlled environment. Responsible for surface preparation, mixing coatings, maintaining equipment, ensuring consistent quality finishes and adhering to strict OSHA safety and ventilation protocols.REPORTS TO:Production ManagerSUBORDINATES:NonePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to instructionsMonitoring production to ensure quality and consistencyLoad and unload materials onto the production lineFollow safety procedures and workplace regulationsMaintain accurate production and quality control recordsWork closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targetsQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or EquivalentGood organizational skills, completes work in a timely mannerMechanically inclined; ability to work with basic hand and power toolsAbility to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inchAbility to stand for long periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.Capable of working independently and as a member of a teamBasic mechanical and technical skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsPrior experience in manufacturing or machine operation(preferred but sometimes not required)
