Role Description This full-time, on-site Teacher Assistant role is located in New York, United States. The Teacher Assistant will support lead teachers in delivering educational activities, supervising children to ensure safety and engagement, assisting with lesson plans, and actively contributing to a positive learning environment. Responsibilities also include helping children with tasks such as assignments and activities, promoting developmentally appropriate practices, and maintaining a clean and safe classroom setting. Qualifications Experience in Assistant Teaching and Education to support classroom instruction and learning activities effectivelyStrong Communication skills to connect with both children and team membersProficiency in Mathematics for assisting children with age-appropriate problem-solving and numerical tasksDemonstrated ability to work effectively with children, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere in the classroomPatience, adaptability, and a passion for working with young learnersHigh school diploma or GED required; relevant coursework or certifications in early childhood education preferredPrevious experience in a childcare or educational setting is a plusAbility to comply with local regulations regarding childcare and educational roles
