This role supports both project-driven security initiatives and day-to-day security operations, playing a hands-on role in protecting enterprise systems, data, and users.The Security Engineer will collaborate closely with IT and security teams to monitor threats, respond to incidents, and support continuous improvements to the organization’s security posture.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport a mix of security projects and operational ticket-based work within the security teamUse ServiceDesk to track security incidents, requests, and tasksAssist with data protection and data loss prevention (DLP) initiatives using enterprise security platformsMonitor, investigate, and respond to security events using an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platformPerform threat investigation and remediation using Microsoft-native security toolsSupport email security and day-to-day threat protection effortsCollaborate with team members to enhance security processes, tooling, and response capabilitiesRequired Experience & QualificationsHands-on experience with an EDR platform (e.g., SentinelOne or similar enterprise tools)Experience supporting email security and data protection solutions in an enterprise environmentStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Defender and related Microsoft security toolsFamiliarity with threat detection, analysis, and remediation using Microsoft-native platformsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational security environment
