Entry-Level Software Test Engineer
Entry-Level Software Test EngineerTapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Entry-Level Software Test Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems.
Position Responsibilities:
Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing products
Performs test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies
Report and manage defects
Regression test software fixes for new and existing products
Participate in Requirements and Functional Specifications reviews of new features and verify these requirements are reflected in the test specifications
Document, troubleshoot and follow up on issues found during testing
Actively work with other members of the team to constantly improve the process, tools and effectiveness of the team
Assist Development with replicating and debugging problems
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree
Foundational knowledge of testing principles, basic programming skills, and a strong aptitude for analytical problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 0+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of directly related work experience OR 8+ years of related, relevant experience
1+ year(s) of experience with software debugging, integration, test and documentation
Experience with test or system integration
Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements
Automated test experience
Understanding of Mission Planning Software usage
Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing

Summary base pay range $59,000 – $67,200
