Director of Business DevelopmentResponsibilities Suncoast Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages 1117 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges. The dedicated professionals at Suncoast Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home.The Director of Business Development (DBD) oversees the marketing, referral development, public relations and customer satisfaction efforts for Suncoast Behavioral Health Center and Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center. The DBD manages and directs a team of Business Development Representatives who build strong customer relationships while assuring the hospital meets established goals. The DBD works with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to troubleshoot and improve internal and external processes to benefit referral sources and patients, as well as overall strategic planning. The DBD acts as a liaison between the hospital, customers, and community stakeholders, as well as plan events, serves on community boards, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital. The Director of Business Development will work for both Suncoast Behavioral Health Center and Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center.Core Responsibilities:Articulate the mission, culture and programs of Suncoast Behavioral Health Center and Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center to current and prospective referral sources and the community.Supervise a team of Business Development Representatives to ensure sales/marketing efforts and results meet facility goals.Develop a strategic plan for creating demand for the facilities' services.Create processes and strategies to constantly improve the customer's experience with Suncoast Behavioral Health Center and Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center.Create and manage a departmental budget.Manage/negotiate contracts with insurance and managed care companies.Network and participate in community events and committees.Create marketing promotional materials and online/social media content.Perform personnel management duties including recruiting and retention, providing department orientation and training and completing performance evaluations.Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.Establishes departmental goals, standards and procedures that align with the Hospital and company strategic direction.Maintain working relationships with physicians, allied health professionals, patient families and referral sources.Benefits include:Challenging and rewarding work environmentCompetitive compensation & generous paid time offExcellent medical, dental, vision and prescription drug plans401(K) with company match and discounted stock planTuition reimbursementSoFi student loan refinancing programCareer development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ subsidiaries!Pet insuranceAbout Universal Health Services One of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
