STEM After School Instructor

STEM After School Instructor Nexplore, Temecula, CA 92592 Position: part‑time instructor delivering STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to students PreK‑12 at Nexplore. The role includes training, lesson planning, and engagement with students and families. Reports to a Program Success Manager. Responsibilities Maintain a consistent schedule by arriving on time, reviewing lesson plans, and preparing materials. Deliver meaningful, standard‑aligned instruction that cultivates critical thinking, problem solving, and joy in learning. Engage in professional communication with program managers and site personnel. Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s program collection and administer accommodations or extensions as needed. Participate in family engagement efforts and empower children to access and engage in Nexplore programs. Qualifications Part‑time position. AA degree or higher. At least 2 years of teaching or instructing experience (preferred). Experience working with children. Experience in educational development or training. Teaching degree or certificate is a plus. Commitment to the full proposed schedule. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Reliable transportation. Willingness to complete mandatory training. Program Details Class time: 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM. Programs: Little Doctors, Pottery, Magic, Science‑Wiz & Science of Superpowers. Compensation: $65 per hour of class.
