Job Description Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing routine and specialized computed tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. They work independently, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Execute a variety of CT procedures, including CTA, calcium scoring, and structural imaging with precision and efficiency. Assess patients, monitor their condition during procedures, and communicate effectively to promote cooperation and understanding. Maintain all required certifications, licenses, and adherence to safety protocols in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Assist in orienting new staff and performing specific departmental procedures as needed. Document procedures accurately using Epic or preferred charting systems. Ensure timely lab work, background checks, and verifications are completed prior to assignment. Qualifications: Hold current BLS, ARRRT(R) or (CT), CA Radiation, and CA fluoroscopy licenses. Demonstrate at least 2 years of CT imaging experience, including CTA, calcium scoring, and structural scans. Proven ability to perform advanced imaging procedures and operate CT equipment independently. Maintain valid state licensure and certifications in hand at the time of submission. Exhibit excellent communication skills, patient assessment, and attention to detail. Be available for possible weekend shifts and travel requirements within 50 miles.
