Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionSummary\nA Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.\nPrimary Job Functions\nThis section describes the primary /essential responsibilities that this job performs.\n\nPerforming routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage\nMaintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly\nApplying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems\nFixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries\nFabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing,\nUnderstanding recycling principals\nOperate various PIV sit-down center Ryder\nDemonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.\nFollow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and Follow procedures. \n\nSecondary Job Functions\nThis section describes the secondary responsibilities that this job performs.\n\nMaintain reliable attendance.\nActively participate in departmental meetings, training and education.
