Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

Must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties: Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&RAlexandria, LA - per diem available - Must be within 20 miles PRN as needed. 1099 compensation: -$750 for half day (4 hours) -$1600 for full day (8 hours) -$650 for completing all required training and starting assignment Details:Need is on a PRN basis, ongoingMust be Board Certified in any of the following specialties: Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&RTwo (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practiceOption to work days(4-hours) and/or full days(8-hours)One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessmentsExams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, evaluating traumatic brain injury. Exams will be a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury. No prescribing, no treatmentQuick credentialing & onboardingDMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certifiedUse of Goniometer requiredFamiliar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio requiredProficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.Own personal laptop (NO MACs)Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)The provider will need to complete their DMA trainingIf you are interested in hearing more about the opportunity, please send updated CV to Taylor Kennedy
