Position Overview: Location: Near Palmer, AK Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call EMR System: Epic Practice Details: Practice Setting: The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring a diverse and fulfilling experience. Shifts and Coverage: Clinic Coverage: Two weeks per month of clinic coverage. Call Coverage: Onsite: 4 weeks per month of hospital call coverage with night call during the week and 24-hour weekend call. Virtual: For the other two weeks, 24-hour virtual call coverage. Patient Load: Average of 12 patients per shift. Holidays: Coverage required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Pediatric Neurology. Certifications: BLS and PALS certifications required. Privileges: Hospital and surgery center privileges required; however, temporary privileges are not available. Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 90-145 days.
