No sponsorships are available currently.While this job does work remotely, this role does require on-site investigations. Travel will be required within the SE region of Indiana. Preferred residing locations: Delaware, Henry, Madison. Travel locations include: Delaware, Henry, Madison, Randolph, Hancock, Johnson, Shelby, Morgan, Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley, Rush, Switzerland, Union, and Wayne.Here Are The Day-to-day Duties Of This PositionInvestigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation involving endangered adultsConduct thorough investigations, including interviews, record reviews, and collaboration with other investigative agenciesInitiate and facilitate referrals to services and community resourcesDocument investigation activities, including case planning, safety planning, case notes, and findingsServe as the Priority A (within 24 hours of receipt) responder to initiate timely contact with clients facing immediate harm on a rotating basisRespond to all assigned investigations within the required timeframeReview and respond to quality assurance evaluationsSkills Needed To Be Successful In This RoleAbility to think critically, incorporating multiple factors into larger conceptsStrong organizational skills with abilities to simultaneously manage multiple investigationsAbility to work with and relate to others with customer relation techniques, professionalism, and respect for other culturesAbility to effectively use active listening and interviewing skillsAbility to adapt quickly when policies and regulations changeMust be computer literate and have MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet skillsAbility to foster teamwork with all levels of management and staffAbility to work well independently and within a teamSuperior verbal and written communication skillsStrong decision-making skills, with accuracy and attention to detailRequirementsExperience with Adult Protective Services, Investigatory, Social Services, Human Services, or Law Enforcement workBachelor’s degree preferredMust have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license and car insurance, and a clean driving recordMust be willing and able to commute to the following Indiana counties: Delaware, Henry, Madison, Randolph, Hancock, Johnson, Shelby, Morgan, Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley, Rush, Switzerland, Union, and Wayne.What else does it take to be successful at Briljent?Consultative Mindset –Listen.
