Please review the job details below.Lanteris Space is seeking an Antenna RF Design Engineer to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. Our team designs, analyzes, and tests high-quality antennas that are suitable for space missions ranging from Low Earth Orbit Satellites to Geostationary Satellites to Planet Exploration Spacecrafts. We are all self-motivated, highly collaborative, problem-solving engineers who can also work independently with minimum supervision at times.ResponsibilitiesPerform research, design, analysis and development of antenna and related productsGenerate reports, recommendations and input for proposals or programs.Generate engineering documentation such as specifications, design reviews and action item responsesPerform testing, troubleshooting and test analysis.Collaborate with both internal and external engineers and project/program managerMinimum RequirementsMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent residentBS degree in electrical engineering. Four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degreePreferred QualificationsKnowledge in antenna/microwave theoryExperience with antenna design/analytical software tools such as TICRATOOLS, Grasp, Pos, Champ and CSTExperience with RF simulation software such as CST, HFSS and µWave WizardExperience with MATLAB, Python, Fortran, C/C++ and/or other coding toolsSelf-MotivatedExcellent in communicating and collaborating even with others who are not in the same disciplineIn support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.The base pay for this position within California is: $67,000.00 - $111,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
