This position is responsible for automating infrastructure, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, and managing network and system operations across both cloud and on-premises environments. This position will support the IT Operations team’s initiatives to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of IT services across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network architecture, systems administration, and security best practices.Essential DutiesEmbeds security controls and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.Automates infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.Collaborates with development teams to ensure secure code deployment.Designs, configures, and maintains secure network architectures (LAN/WAN/VPN/Firewall).Monitors network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.Implements network segmentation and zero-trust principles.Manages Linux and Windows servers, including patching, backups, and performance tuning.Maintains high availability and disaster recovery strategies.Administers IAM, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.Conducts vulnerability assessments and remediate findings.Manages endpoint protection, SIEM tools, and intrusion detection systems.Ensures compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.Supports the IT Operations Manager and team, including resource planning, performance management, and professional development.Develops and enforces IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices.Attends and actively participate in weekly meetings.Coordinates with the IT team to meet departmental objectives.Provides emergency 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field 5 – 7 years of experience in DevOps, SecOps, or Systems/Network AdministrationExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Strong knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, Ethernet, CISCO UCS, NetApp, Microsoft Office 365, switching, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), 802.1Q, and DNSStrong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independentlyAbility to maintain confidentiality with sensitive informationStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environmentProactive self-starter with strong attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPreferred Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) Key Competencies Inter-Relationships Regular interaction with internal customers, peers, end-users, and leadership. Interfaces with external vendors as needed. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Work Environment This position works in an office setting. Requires regular use of office equipment including computers, phones, and printers. This position occasionally works in manufacturing and warehouse environments. Exposure to seasonal temperature extremes and dusty conditions may occur. Office hours are 8AM to 5PM, with on-call availability required during non-scheduled hours.
