This position requires a highly-motivated team player to support quality screening for surgical robotic systems, instruments and accessories by simulating customer use, identify potential quality issues and working cross functionally with manufacturing and quality engineering teams to correct and verify issues prior to product release.Essential Job DutiesAssist NPI Engineering during new systems platform introductionAssist QE’s in SAP data mining and reports preparationManage projects and special assignments from the Management teamConduct training for Systems FQI and maintain training recordsPrepare quality reports and present data during engineering walkthroughAssist QE’s and ME’s in product quality investigation and root cause analysisInitiate, lead and implement efficiency and process improvement projectsCoordinate with cross functional teams product flow prioritizationExecute IQ/OQ protocols for capitalized and loaner systemsExecute PPQ and V&V protocolsRedline QAP and other applicable work instructionsFollows all corporate, safety, production procedures and regulationsUpdate FQI daily test log and EOS reports originationPerforms other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, supervisors, or engineers.Follows all applicable work instructions and perform simulated surgical procedures utilizing a surgical robotic system and accessories.Proficient in use of personal computers as part of daily work, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.Working knowledge of SAP, MES, and Agile applications (ECO, Deviations) Clear understanding of product non- conformances, quality notification (NCR’s, PL’s, EE’s, VR’s) records origination and escalation process.Expertise in systems advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic skills, and systems error log analysis.Working knowledge of using iliad:5005 (Systems Error Log Data Base)Meticulous attention to detailPerforms other duties as assignedRequired Education And TrainingHigh school diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years related experience or training.Working ConditionsRole is full-time onsiteAbility to work varying shiftsMust have ability to complete training coursesAbility to work in a team environment.Must be able to work with other cross-function teams such as manufacturing operation, manufacturing engineer, quality engineer, equipment engineer and specialized roleOvertime will be required as needed per business need or per supervisor/Manager discretionMust be available to travel as needed 5-10%.Preferred Skills And ExperienceBachelor or Associate Degree PreferredFamiliar with Lean Six Sigma conceptMaintains an excellent attendance record in compliance with established manufacturing and quality attendance guidelines..Background with Intuitive System Testing, Cart Bringup Testing or Mini/PFTP TestingAbility to multi-taskAdditional InformationDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
