The ideal candidate will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care, radiation safety, and procedural efficiency. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment.\n Key Responsibilities\n\nAssist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.\nOperate fluoroscopic imaging equipment in accordance with radiation safety standards.\nScrub and circulate during invasive cardiovascular procedures.\nPrepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, catheters, guidewires, and procedural equipment.\nMonitor patient condition throughout procedures and promptly recognize changes requiring intervention.\nOperate hemodynamic monitoring systems and accurately document procedural events.\nPerform pressure monitoring, EKG interpretation, and assist with contrast administration as directed.\nMaintain compliance with infection prevention and radiation safety protocols.\nCollaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.\nAssist with patient positioning, transportation, and post-procedure care as needed.\nMaintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.\n Minimum Qualifications\n\nGraduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.\nMinimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab, Special Procedures, or Diagnostic Radiology experience.\nCurrent ARRT (R) certification required.\nActive Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Radiologic License required.\nCurrent BLS (AHA) certification required.\nCurrent ACLS (AHA) certification required.\nRCIS, RCES, or CVI certification preferred.\n Required Skills\n\nProficiency with fluoroscopy and cardiac catheterization equipment.\nKnowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, pressure monitoring, and EKG interpretation.\nStrong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety practices.\nExperience documenting procedures using hemodynamic monitoring systems.\nAbility to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment.\nExcellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to safely lift, transfer, and position patients.\n Physical Requirements\n\nAbility to perform medium physical work.\nFrequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning during procedures.\n Required Credentials\n\nActive Ohio Radiologic License (ODH)\nARRT (R)\nBLS (AHA)\nACLS (AHA)\n Preferred Qualifications\n\nRCIS, RCES, or CVI certification.\nPrevious experience in a high-volume Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab.\nExperience with hemodynamic monitoring systems and invasive cardiovascular procedures.\n \nAbout Encode INC\n\n At Encode, we empower organizations and individuals through innovative, human-centric workforce and technology solutions.
