Volunteer WayFinder/Concierge - Elevator Areas

Are you a friendly outgoing person who loves to interact with other people? We have an wonderful opportunity for adults ages 18+ to act as "WayFinders", assisting visitors and patients with guidance to their destination.Volunteers will greet and escort patients and visitors. This position requires self-ambulation and will involve significant walking throughout the medical center, including use of both elevators and stairs. The role requires standing/walking for long periods of time. You must be able to push a patient or visitor by wheelchair.Our required commitment is 1 year or more, with a regular schedule consisting of at least one shift per week, minimum 3 hours. Prospective volunteers will need to complete an interview and application process, which includes medical clearance, background check, and drug screening. A volunteer uniform will be provided at no charge as part of our dress code.Shifts available (all are 1day/week, and 1 year minimum commitment):Start times as early as 6 AM, with a 3-hours minimum shift. Morning shift times can start at any time in the morning with the last being 9 AM - 12 PMAfternoon start times from 12 PM to 1 PM, with the last afternoon shift being 1 PM - 4 PMWeekend shifts have start times from 9 AM to 2 PM, with the last shift being 2 PM - 5 PM
