For more information about Eos, visit eose.com.ResponsibilitiesOversees the receipt, storage, and distribution of the organization's materials.Oversees the safe and efficient operation of materials movements and materials storage with the site storage space.Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify materials needed and to track material movement.Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.Responsible for tracking warehouse inventory and ensuring products are shipped out properly.Designate staff to pull products from the shelves, distribute items to production, prepare orders for distribution, and check to make sure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.Train employees on forklifts, material handling, ladder safety, fall hazards, and PPE.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.Prior use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required.Must be able to work within a collaborative team environment while also working independently and be responsible for the tasks assigned.Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely delivery.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.Working ConditionsFactory - The worker may be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or exposure to chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. May be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Additional Requirements This job requires the ability to effectively communicate orally (and occasionally in writing) with co-workers and supervisors, and the ability to understand and quickly react to job-related oral and/or written directions, safety information, and communications (which are generally in English), as our manufacturing processes are constantly changing and evolving.
