Network Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on *Network Engineer* to support campus network deployment and infrastructure projects. The role will focus on configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cisco network equipment across a large enterprise environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Configure and deploy *Cisco Catalyst switches*, especially the *9300 series*.
* Perform switch *rack-and-stack, configuration, deployment, migration, and decommissioning*.
* Support LAN/WAN and campus network operations.
* Troubleshoot *Layer 2 networking* issues including VLANs, trunking, and connectivity.
* Support network infrastructure for facility, lab, and campus expansion projects.
* Monitor network performance and resolve operational issues.
* Coordinate with vendors and internal engineering teams.
* Maintain network documentation and configuration records.
*Required Skills*
* *CCNA certification – Required*
* *5+ years* of enterprise/campus network experience.
* Strong hands-on *Cisco switching* experience.
* Experience with *Cisco Catalyst 9300*.
* Strong knowledge of *Layer 2 networking*.
* Hands-on experience with switch deployment and troubleshooting.
* Ability to work *onsite in Milpitas, CA*.
*Preferred*
* *Arista 7050* experience.
* Experience with *SolarWinds Orion or Cacti*.
* Large enterprise network experien
Experience:
* Cisco Catalyst 9300: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
* CCNA certification (Required)
