Senior Azure Architect

Job Description – Senior Azure Architect (BFS)We are building an enterprise internal developer platform to simplify infrastructure delivery while ensuring strong security, compliance, and cost governance. The Senior Azure Architect will design and standardize cloud architectures that enable engineering teams to deploy secure, scalable, and production-ready applications across Azure.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign enterprise reference architectures across Azure services (AKS, Azure Container Apps, Azure App Service).Architect highly available and resilient solutions, including multi-region (active-active) deployments and disaster recovery strategies.Design secure cloud networking using Hub-and-Spoke, Private Link, and DNS strategies, applying security-by-design principles with Entra ID.Define and enforce reusable, standardized infrastructure patterns with built-in observability, logging, and cost controls.Ensure governance and compliance across deployments, including policy enforcement and cost optimization practices.Provide Azure technical leadership and guidance to application teams on cloud-native design, modernization, and best practices.Nice to HaveExperience with cloud security tools (e.g., Wiz).Exposure to FinOps practices (cost monitoring, budgeting, anomaly detection).Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working with Azure management APIs.
