Combo Pipe Welder/ FitterLocation: Oregon, PNW Region – Travel RoleEmployment Type: HourlyWage: $30-40 / hr + Per DiemExperience Level: ExperiencedPlease note, we have work going all over the state, availability to travel is a requirement.Position SummaryGreenberry Industrial is seeking experienced Combo Pipe Welder/Fitters for an industrial projects throughout Oregon and the PNW. This position requires proficiency in multiple welding processes and materials commonly used in industrial piping systems.Candidates must successfully pass a hands-on weld test prior to hire.This role is ideal for safety-focused welders who take pride in producing high-quality, code-compliant welds in demanding industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality pipe welding using multiple processes, including SMAW (Stick) and GTAW (TIG)Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping per project specificationsRead and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, isometric drawings, and WPS documentsFit, tack, and weld pipe in various positions (2G, 5G, 6G as required)Ensure all welds meet applicable codes, standards, and quality requirementsOperate welding equipment safely and maintain tools and machines in good conditionConduct visual inspections of welds and assist with QA/QC requirementsFollow all safety protocols, including PPE, LOTO, hot work permits, and jobsite-specific rulesWork collaboratively with pipefitters, foremen, and other craft personnelRequired QualificationsJourneyman-level experience as a Combo Pipe Welder in industrial or commercial settingsProven ability to weld pipe using SMAW and GTAW processesExperience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipeAbility to pass a Greenberry Industrial weld testAbility to read and work from isometric drawings and welding proceduresStrong knowledge of welding safety practices and OSHA standardsReliable attendance and strong work ethicPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience working in industrial plants, mills, or manufacturing facilitiesFamiliarity with ASME and AWS welding codesValid welding certifications (current or expired)Experience working shutdowns or maintenance projectsBenefits (For Eligible Employees)Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (shared cost)Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Safety & Wellness Rewards ProgramWhy Choose Greenberry?At Greenberry Industrial, safety comes first — always.
