Physical Therapist Fresno, CA - Onsite Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goalsActively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plansDeliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plansProvide active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional training of ADLs, and treatments including massage, heat, sound, water, light, or electricitySupervise Therapy Assistants, providing training, instruction, and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)Provide training and instruction to staff, participants, and caregivers/families on the use and care of therapeutic equipmentJob requirements include:Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy; master’s or doctoral degree preferredTwo (2) years in clinical setting with frail or elderly population preferredValid California Physical Therapy License, or proof of license eligibilityMust obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred.We are seeking Physical Therapists that ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience.
